McGovern Centennial Garden Engagement Session Houston Texas

Two of the most precious people got engaged yesterday (EEK!) and I could not be more excited for them! Austin messaged me the morning of our session and said that he wanted to propose to Katie and asked how can we make it happen. Of course I got super excited because, LOVE!! So we decided to have him pop the question towards the beginning, so the rest of the session could be a true engagement session. 🙂 The tricky part was to have Austin know when I would be ready and where I wanted him to propose so we had the absolute BEST light and backdrop…so naturally I told him I was going to talk about Tacos and that would be his cue. I’m sure he thought I was insane but you gotta do what you gotta do to make the moment happen at the right time! 🙂

So I casually brought up a taco shop that was near by and asked if either of them had ever tried it. I may or may not have gone overboard on the “Taco Train” buuuttt in my defense, I didn’t eat lunch and got a little excited about supper! Anyways…Austin popped the question to Katie in the most perfect way. Katie was so incredibly sweet and kept saying “I’m so confused!”. 🙂 Also, make sure you take a peek at the GORGEOUS ring Austin designed. It is perfection. Just like them!

I love the story of how Austin and Katie met and their love story. They have been dating for 3.5 years, 3 of those have been long distance. Katie went to school at OU and Austin currently is going to Rice. After multiple years apart and thousands of miles driven to visit one another they are finally in the same city living life to the fullest! I’m so excited to watch their love continue to grow during this season of life and can’t wait to see them get married!

Congratulations to the Future Mr. & Mrs. Trammell!
