I'm a Texas-based wedding photographer focused on capturing the elegant details and authentic emotions of Southern love stories.
When I arrived at the Inn at Quarry Ridge I dropped my stuff off in Stonehem Hall and went up to the bridal suite to say “Hello” to Shelby and her girls. Most of the girls were finished with their hair and make-up and Shelby was putting on the finishing touches. I grabbed all of her details and headed back to Stonehem to get started. Details are some of my favorite things to photograph because it allows you to remember those little details from your wedding day years down the road when you may not have kept them. I LOVE when my brides have all of their details gathered and ready for me to grab so that I can get right to work.
Once I was done with Shelby’s details I headed back upstairs to photograph the girls getting ready and the sweetest First Look between Shelby and her grandma! Grandma’s really are the sweetest and Shelby’s was no different. Just look at her grandma’s smile when you scroll down in a little bit.
Guest started to arrive and I took my place at the front of the ceremony space before the processional started. Pretty soon the wedding party and family made their entrance and before long Shelby was being escorted down the aisle by her future Father-In-Law and Brother-In-Law. The ceremony was conducted by Walker’s uncle and was so sweet and personal. Shelby and Walker read their own vows to one another before exchanging rings. It was perfect!
After the ceremony, it was time for family photos and my favorite; newlywed sunset photos!! Shelby and Walker were killing it and you could see and feel how happy and in love they are. 🙂 Then the party got started!
It was such a beautiful wedding and I know they are going to have a long and happy marriage full of love.
Congratulations Shelby + Walker!
